We started out on the Beaver River in New Brighton, PA. We traveled down the Beaver river to the Ohio River. We went up stream through the Dashelds lock. We then traveled up the Ohio to Nevile Island and had lunch at a resturant on the back Channel. After lunch we traveled back down around the lower tip of Nevile Island and headed up stream through the Emsworth Lock. Once through we traveled up stream to Pittsburgh. We spent a little time around the city. With skies darkening we decided to cut our visit of Pittsburgh short. We headed back down river and through the two locks and back to New Brighton. We made it back around 7:30 pm. We started out with six boats, we had fuel problems with one and had to dock it at a friends dock along the way. The six boats were Nick Arnone's 1959 Century Coronado 21', Tom Drozd's 1957 Century Resroter 16', Walt Fraizer's 1955 Century Resorter 16', Blaine Koehler's 1957 Chris Craft Continental 20', Chuck Miklos's 1955 Century Coronado 20', and Erik Miklos' 1958 Chris Craft Sportsman 17'.
