2008 Fall Workshop #1

The first fall workshop of 2008 was held at Erik Miklos' shop in Washington PA. Sixteen members attended the workshop. They were:

Art Lowrie looking at a 1930s Mullins Sea Eagle. Art's family had a Mullins Sea Eagle in the mid 1930s. That boat was traded in on a 1942 Century Seamaid in November of 1941. Art still owns the 1942 Century.

One of the items we did was setting up a steam box and forming 1 & 1/8" thick white oak to a curve. Here the steam box is set up and making steam.

Bill Markel and Erik Miklos look at photographs of Bill's newest project, an early 1930s Century outboard. Bill will be bringing this boat to the next workshop, on the 22nd of November.
